The new Chevrolet Menlo (what a horrible name BTW...) is a brand new electric small SUV for the Chinese market.

It is based on the Buick Velite 6 platform. Which is related to our Chevrolet Volt.

So this will not be coming here.

Again, I think this is so weird for GM to spend that much money on totally different models for the US and China.

What we will be getting in the US is this one. A small new SUV based on the Chevrolet Bolt.

Which means it will not be based on GM's all-new BEV3 platform.

Not sure about the US model, but the Chinese Menlo is available with a panoramic glass roof option.

Which is something GM never offered on the Volt or the Bolt...
